Slack Water is a nautical term meaning the period of time in between high and low tides when the ocean is most calm, unstressed. Slack Water best describes my state of heart and mind whenever I am out enjoying quiet moments and wandering around with my camera feeding my creative energy. My hope is that some of the peace and joy that overcomes me is reflected in my photography.

I am a happy, grateful, positive kid at heart who enjoys the simple pleasures of life ... my morning cup of coffee, listening to my favorite music, walks on the beach, road trips to new places, Sunday football with my husband, and spending quality time with close friends and family. I believe in loving all animals, being especially kind to our elderly peeps, and respecting our Veterans and the men and women who continue to serve and protect our great country.
